Yellowstone National Park has announced the temporary closure of the parking lot, trail, and boardwalks at Artists Paintpots, located south of Norris Junction. This closure is necessary to repair the accessible boardwalk ramp, which connects the parking lot to the trail network.
During this time, there will be no access to the hydrothermal features and mudpots at Artists Paintpots. The closure is expected to last up to two weeks as crews work to complete the repairs and ensure safe access for visitors.
For updates on the reopening and other visitor information, check Yellowstone National Park’s website.
