Tomorrow, elected officials in Teton County will be conducting interviews with folks who are volunteering to serve on various boards in the community.
Teton County Commissioners and the Jackson Town Council will talk with candidates for the Jackson Hole Airport Board, the Affordable Housing Supply Board, and the Jackson Teton County Parks and Recreation board.
There is one seat up on the airport board with eight candidates applying, including incumbent Bob McLaurin.
The Housing Supply Board currently has seven members, but it can be expanded to nine or eleven members each serving 3-year, staggered terms. There are three terms expiring and one board member is requesting reappointment. A total of ten applicants will be considered.
The Parks and Recreation Board consists of seven voting members, Teton County Commission and Jackson Town Council. There are 3 terms expiring. Two board members are requesting reappointment. Eight community members have volunteered.
The interviews will begin at 9 am at the county administration building on Willow.
