The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Jackson Region will host a public meeting on April 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Jackson Regional Office, 420 N Cache St, to discuss proposed changes to Chapter 22 (Watercraft Regulations) and Chapter 46 (Fishing Regulations). Fisheries managers will present the proposals, outlining updates to rules governing watercraft use, aquatic invasive species prevention, fishing seasons, creel limits, and legal methods, and will answer questions from attendees. The meeting offers an opportunity for the public to engage directly with experts and provide feedback on regulations affecting Wyoming’s waterways and fisheries.
For those unable to attend in person, a virtual meeting is scheduled for May 19 at 3 p.m. via Zoom, featuring fisheries managers from across the state discussing the same regulation changes. Written comments are welcome through 5 p.m. on June 10 and can be submitted online, at public meetings, or by mail to Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Regulations, 3030 Energy Lane, Casper, WY 82604. The proposed regulations are available on the Game and Fish website and at the Casper office. Comments will be reviewed by the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission before a public hearing at its July 2025 meeting in Evanston. The department is committed to accessibility, offering accommodations for those with disabilities upon request.
