The Save the Block project partners have announced they are just 100 donors shy of matching the latest matching grant pledged to donate $1-million dollars if 1000 additional donors can be found by July 4th. These donations may be of any size. After a successful Million Dollar May campaign, the Save the Block project was left with an additional $5 million to secure the property. The objective is to prevent the development of a 90,000 sq. ft. hotel on the historic parcel. Since its launch, the Save the Block project had received almost $2.5-million with more than 22-hundred gifts by June 15th. A total of $7.5 million is needed by August 4thto preserve the block. Donations specifically for this project may be made through the Jackson Hole Land Trust.
