Heavy snowfall is expected with total snow accumulations of 8 to 12 in the lower elevations, and 12 to 24 inches in the mountains.
Affected areas are Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park and Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains.
Winds gusting as high as 45 mph and 55 miles per hour in higher elevations.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility to near zero at times
including over South Pass. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
