The Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center will host its 25th Annual Avalanche Awareness Night on Thursday, December 5, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Jackson Hole Center for the Arts. This longstanding event focuses on promoting safety and education for winter backcountry enthusiasts while fostering a sense of community.
Avalanche Awareness Night has been a key part of Jackson Hole’s winter preparedness efforts for the past 25 years. The event raises funds to support BTAC’s mission of educating the public about avalanche safety and encouraging good decision-making in the backcountry.
“Avy Night” is sponsored by Skinny Skis, with additional support from Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures and Fish Creek Excavation. Community members are invited to participate, learn, and contribute to a culture of safety in winter recreation.
