Two people died Monday afternoon as the result of a two-vehicle accident at the south of Bondurant. According to Sergeant Travis Bingham of the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old Marion Robinson of Bedford died at the scene of his injuries. In the vehicle with him was an 11-year-old passenger who was transported to Jackson by ambulance and treated at St. Johns Medical Center. The young boy was later released to a family member unharmed. The driver of the second vehicle, 62-year-old Mary Ann Menster of Pinedale, was life-flighted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center where she later died of her injuries. Highway 191 was closed for about four hours from the time of the accident at about 4:30 pm. The Wyoming Highway Patrol is still investigating what caused the northbound vehicle to cross into the southbound lane striking the southbound vehicle head-on. Investigators say seatbelts were in use by all the individuals.
