Driver fatigue is being investigated as the possible cause of a fatal accident on Highway 89 south of Etna Monday morning. The accident occurred at about 6:30 am when a male driver was traveling southbound in a Subaru and veered into the oncoming lane of traffic, colliding head-on with a minivan.
The driver of the Subaru was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries. The woman driving the minivan was life-flighted to Eastern Idaho Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. No further information was immediately available.
