Air service through the Jackson Hole Airport is beginning to slowly pick back up as the COVID-19 epidemic begins to stabilize. Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce President Anna Olson told a special meeting of the joint town and county leaders that the real changes however won’t take place until next month.
Olson said, “We will be seeing more daily service from Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, LA, Minneapolis, New York, Salt Lake, San Fran and Seattle all starting around the seventh of July. There has been an uptick of service in June, but it’s still pretty small – and that service does represent still quite a bit less than last year.”
As visitation to the valley resumes, Olson says the Chamber is seeking permission to set up an information kiosk on the town square for visitor contact while the interagency visitor center on the north end of town remains closed.
