Air travel in and out of Jackson Hole last month continued to be low as the impacts of the pandemic continue to be felt. According to the monthly report to the airport board, both enplanements and deplanements were off by 21%.
Specifically, 34,778 travelers arrived through the Jackson Hole Airport during February while 33,692 caught flights out. That compares with an 11% increase in arrivals and 10% increase in departures during the same month last year before the COVID pandemic hit.
Meanwhile, Jackson Hole saw a 13% increase in the flights available to passengers here last month with service from four major carriers and one commuter airline. Those flights served Jackson Hole from 10 different cities nationwide.
