The number of travelers passing through Jackson Hole Airport continued to increase during last month. According to the monthly report to the airport board, the number of those catching flights out of the valley increased by 13% while the number of arrivals increased by 15%. Altogether, 62,757 air travelers arrived in Jackson in August while 65,366 too flights out. So far this year, travel through the airport has increased approximately 20% with flights by the six air carriers have gone up by 11%. Jackson Hole Airport holds the distinction of being the busiest airport in Wyoming by a substantial amount.
