As tourism in Yellowstone National Park has been on the rise so has passenger traffic through the Jackson Hole Airport According to the monthly report to the airport board, enplanements were up six percent in April while the number of arrivals surged by 18%. This, in spite of a decline in the number of available flights by 10%.
According to the report, so far this year, there have been 140,442 enplanements at Jackson Hole Airport so far this year, and 129,102 deplanements easily preserving the airport’s status as the busiest airport in Wyoming. The beginning of the valley’s off-season, service was decreased to service to only six cities by five air carriers.
The airport’s summer schedule picks back up again the second week of June with service from six air carriers to 12 major cities nationwide.
