With travel picking up in the last few weeks, including those arriving by air, the Jackson Hole Airport is taking measures to reduce the chances of travelers spreading the Coronavirus. To that end, the airport has published a process to limit exposure of those traveling including checking in and paying for bags online the night before and always wearing a face mask while in the airport, whether they are passengers or meeting passengers. Those who do not have a mask will be supplied one by the airport. There have been three kiosks set up for hand sanitation and obtaining a facemask. Plexiglass has been installed at all ticketing and gate area desks as well as other desks where staff interfaces with public. Floor stickers have been placed at 6-foot spacing to remind folks to observe social distancing and posters are displayed to remind people of appropriate precautionary behavior. Meanwhile, while, air travelers are not being screened as they arrive, they are being screened for COVID as they go through TSA screening to access their flights.
