Travel through the Jackson Hole Airport continues to grow with the December report showing a 13% increase in people catching flights out of Jackson and 12% increase in those arriving. Altogether, the twelve months have added up to a significant increase in air travel in and out of Jackson Hole. This week’s report to the airport board lists 454,629 people as having flown out of the valley, and 451,065 people arriving through the facility. Those are 16 and 17 percent increases respectively. That growth comes on the heels of an 11% increase in enplanements and 13% increase in deplanements during the year before. Jackson’s six air carriers providing service to 13 cities nationwide increased by 10% over the past year – all helping preserve Jackson Hole Airport’s title as the busiest airport in Wyoming.
