Alaska Airlines has announced plans to begin service to Jackson Hole this winter. According to a release from the airline, on December 17th, flights will begin between Jackson and Seattle, San Jose, and San Diego. Alaska Airline Managing Director of Capacity Planning and Alliances explained “Jackson Hole and the surrounding Grand Teton mountains offer a legendary winter playground with a rich history, amazing service, and plenty of activities both on and off the mountain.” The schedule will provide five flights weekly from Seattle and San Diego, and twice weekly from San Jose. Alaska’s new schedule joins with flights from American, Delta and United, and this winter, the valley will enjoy direct flights between Jackson Hole and 14 destinations. They include New York Laguardia & JFK, Newark, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Fransisco, San Jose, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Denver.
