The debate has begun in the town of Alpine. City crews have begun putting the town’s holiday lights up in advance of the season, but some local residents are urging them to not rush the season. Consequently, the town had launched an online survey asking whether the town should be lit for the holidays beginning November first, or wait until mid-month or later. Obviously, that survey will end October 31st. Meanwhile, Jackson is looking to its traditional lighting ceremony on the town square November 29th.
