Sunday’s opening of shed-hunting season did not go entirely without a hitch. Just minutes after the start of the shed hunting season, a woman came down with a suspected broken leg after she fell from her horse in the Sheep Creek area of Curtis Canyon.
Teton County Search and Rescue got the call for help at 6:18 am and dusted off the wheeled litter and RZR side-by-side for a team ground response. The woman was assessed at the scene, packaged, and transported via wheeled litter to a waiting ambulance at the trailhead. The volunteers completed the mission in a little over two hours.
