
The Astoria bridge to Astoria Hot Springs and the Snake River Sporting Club Is closed until further notice after it was damaged by a semi-trailer truck on Thursday morning.
Timelines for damage repair and reopening of the Astoria Bridge won’t be known until the engineers from the Snake River Sporting Club have completed a full damage assessment.
Astoria bridge provides emergency access to Sporting Club
Emergency access has been made possible via the Bridger-Teton National Forest Service to connect with the narrow Hoback Junction South Road
One-way alternating traffic will be managed between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. through at least Sunday, December 11th.
The emergency access is limited to residents and workers only and vehicles using the access must have high clearance, four or all-wheel drive, and good winter tires.
