Astoria Hot Springs Park Campaign Reaches Goal, Groundbreaking In March

Today, Astoria Park Conservancy and The Trust for Public Land announced the completion of the $6 million fundraising campaign for the Astoria Hot Springs Park. The campaign has engaged over 500 generous donors, and was completed by additional support from Snake River Sporting Club in January, bringing the Club’s total campaign giving to just over $1.1 million.
“Snake River Sporting Club is pleased to continue to support the community’s vision for Astoria Hot Springs Park,” says Christopher Swann, president of Cygnus Capital, “Since 2012, we’ve worked closely with The Trust for Public Land to restore the community park and we look forward to seeing the construction begin this spring.”
Astoria has been a multi-phase project, beginning in 2012 with The Trust for Public Land’s efforts to regain public access to the hot springs and surrounding area. In 2016, The Trust for Public Land purchased the park site and in 2018 helped to establish the Astoria Park Conservancy as the local group that will steward the park into the future. Now with funds
