A man in Wyoming has been arrested after police said he attempted to use a firearm against a family member.
According to a report from KUTV, Jordan Hale, went on the run after a domestic violence incident involving a firearm in the Star Valley Ranch area.
His vehicle was later found in a ravine near Green Canyon. Alerts were sent to residents warning that Hale was considered armed and dangerous.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Star Valley Search and Rescue, Afton Police Department, and Wyoming Highway Patrol partnered in the search.
A warrant was issued for Hale’s arrest, charging him with felony charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Hale turned himself in to authorities on Monday in Afton. He was booked into the Lincoln County Jail.
