An unidentified man was injured Sunday when the ATV he was riding flipped on Shadow Mountain after he hit an irregularity on the trail. Teton County Search and Rescue responded to the scene at about 2:00 pm. The man had been driving a rental ATV on a guided trip when the accident occurred. According to a report on Facebook from Search and Rescue, the machine flipped and landed on top of the man. Two people nearby helped lift the ATV off of him. The first team made contact with the patient after about 90 minutes and assessed the man’s injuries. They were able to package him up, and transport him to an ambulance at the bottom of the mountain which then took him to St. John’s Health for treatment. There was no word on his condition.
