The search is on for two Alpine girls who were reported missing by their father in February and they could be anywhere in the country.
It was February 23rd of this year when Jace Walsh called law enforcement in Lincoln County to report his two daughters missing.
Walsh said they were taken by their mother, Stephanie, who he said has mental health issues.
“Very specifically Stephanie suffers from visual hallucinations command hallucinations and other voices delusions of persecution,” Walsh said.
Timeline:
Authorities issued an ‘attempt to locate’ order on February 23rd for Stephanie, 8-year-old Tamzen, and 12-year-old Lilyana. An official missing person’s report was not taken.
The three apparently headed to Nevada where they were contacted by Clark County Sheriff’s deputies. They reported that the girls seemed fine and let them continue on.
On March 6th, Jace Walsh obtained an emergency custody order for the children.
Then a librarian in Henderson Nevada spoke with both the girls and Stephanie on March 12th. She said the girls were disheveled looking and really quiet but appeared OK.
The mother apparently purchased a car in Henderson and Walsh said they then went to Los Angeles.
The next and last information found regarding their whereabouts was a credit card charge in San Antonio, Texas on March 15th.
Then on March 16th, the Lincoln County Sheriff accepted a missing person’s report and information was entered on the National Criminal Information Center database. It was also given to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Posters with information about the missing girls are being placed around the country.

Walsh said, “I love Stephanie. She’s the love of my life. We’ve been together for 23 years. She’s just sick and I don’t blame her for this. I understand that it’s mental illness.”
Walsh added, “I don’t know to what level these hallucinations and delusions have continued to develop. But they’ve been getting worse over the last year and that’s why my kids are no longer safe with her. This is not a custody issue.”
Dark grey 2019 Honda Odyssey
Stephanie, Tamzen, and Lilyana Walsh are reportedly travelling with the two family dogs in a dark grey 2019 Honda Odyssey. The car may have temporary Nevada tags.
If you have any information about their whereabouts or if you see them, call 911 or the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office at (307) 885-5231.
