The Bridger Teton Avalanche Center has continued a Backcountry Avalanche Warning for Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, the Teton, Gros Ventre, Absaroka, Salt River, and Wyoming Ranges until 6AM Friday.
AVALANCHE CONDITIONS REMAIN DANGEROUS.THE
GENERAL AVALANCHE HAZARD IS HIGH AT ALL ELEVATIONS.
TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
Avalanches may run long distances and could run into mature forest, valley floors, and flat terrain.
IMPACTS TO ROADS IN THE SNAKE RIVER AND HOBACK RIVER
CANYONS ARE POSSIBLE. ROAD SLIDES ARE ALSO A HAZARD.
