The East Entrance Road between the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and Fishing Bridge will close for periods of time through Wednesday because of increased avalanche danger from recent snowfall and warm temperatures.
The road was closed Monday until 7:00 pm, and park officials say visitors should anticipate midday road closures today and tomorrow. At the same time, they advise conditions in Yellowstone can change quickly, especially during spring, and roads can temporarily close due to poor driving conditions.
Those planning a visit should check ahead for conditions and be ready to pursue alternate plans.
