It’s back to school Monday – well sort of. Students will resume school on April 6th under the less formal plan established before spring break while staff work and collaborate remotely to determine the best ways to implement the details of the Adapted Learning Plan. However, on Tuesday, the Wyoming Department of Education approved the District’s Adapted Learning Plan which will be implemented starting the week of April 13th. The plan outlines how the schools will ensure educational services are provided to students for the duration of the school closure. The current closure is through April 17th, however the plan is valid for the remainder of the school year should the Governor, the Wyoming Health Officer or our local public health and district officials determine that schools are to remain closed for the remainder of the year. In the coming days principals will provide detailed information about how teachers will engage with students, take attendance, provide feedback on student assignments and other important information about how learning will be supported during the closure.
