The Bank of Jackson Hole is advising text scams have been sent out to customers purporting to be from the Bank of Jackson Hole.
Bank officials say they are continuing to investigate the scam. Fraudulent texts received by some clients stated the following, (quoting now), “Your Bank of Jackson Holes account has been temporarily restricted due to suspicious charges. To resolve click on bjacksonholes.us” Yes, they referred to Jackson Holes as a plural.
Bank officials stress that any messages you might legitimately receive via text or email from Bank of Jackson Hole will be from BoJH and an email address with the @bojh.com domain.
They advise should you get one of the fraudulent texts, do not click on anything that might be suspicious and do not hesitate to contact the bank at 307-733-8064 with any questions.
