The Unified Police Department arrested 37-year-old Kevin Martinez in Salt Lake City, Utah Wednesday in connection to the robbery that occurred on March 25 at the Ireland Bank in Soda Springs. The Soda Springs Police Department issued a warrant for Martinez’s arrest on the charge of robbery. Now it is believed Martinez was involved in the robbery of the Bank of Jackson Hole February 4thas well. The Jackson Police Department, the FBI and Soda Springs Police Department were able to link robberies because Kevin Martinez allegedly robbed the banks in a similar manner. As of this time, Martinez will be awaiting extradition procedures prior to his transport to Caribou County, Idaho, where he will await further court proceedings on the robbery charge. Charges in Jackson are pending.
