After the visit last November by Grizzly Bear 399 and her four cubs to the Teton County government block downtown, it seems appropriate that artwork has now been placed there depicting a large grizzly.
The massive display is a giant reproduction of a Kathryn Mapes Turner painting titled “Outbound,” which is now on display as a fence banner between the Teton County Courthouse and General Services Building off of Simpson Street.
This original artwork was selected out of a large group of submissions in response to a public artist call in October. The public art project, is a joint partnership between Teton County and Jackson Hole Public Art.
