The Teton County, Idaho sheriff’s department is reporting that a young black bear has been spotted along Teton Creek just South of Creekside Meadows in Driggs. Residents are advised to use caution when using the bike pathway in the area and if you go down to the water. Most of all, do not approach the bear if seen. County officials also urge residents who live in this area to remove all bird feeders and any pet food that may be outside the home and secure it inside. Keep all trash secured and do not leave it out where the bear may have access to it. Keep an eye on small pets if they frequent the outside.
