The Moose-Wilson Road has been closed on the northern section from Moose to Death Canyon due to bear activity. The bears are accessing the autumn berry crop along the roadway. Public access to the Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve and Death Canyon area can be made from the south through the Granite Entrance Station. It is unknown the duration of the closure, but anticipated to be through the weekend. The park will monitor the situation and lift the closure when it is appropriate to do so.
