St. John’s Medical Center CEO Dr. Paul Beaupre told Jackson Hole Radio that the people of Teton County have for the most part embraced the cautions recommended to stem the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, and it is working. Dr. Beaupre says the key to getting through the crisis is depending much on ourselves to do the right thing. Dr. Beaupre again emphasizes that if you suspect you have been exposed, or have some of the symptoms, do NOT go to your doctor. Instead, call the hotline and get screened and advised there first. Beaupre adds the bigger pandemic we are dealing with at this time is fear. He urges anyone with questions to contact the hotline and have those concerns addressed.
