The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce announced the return of the Best of the West Parade on May 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., as a highlight of the Old West Days Festival in Jackson, Wyoming. This beloved community event celebrates Jackson Hole’s Western heritage, outdoor lifestyle, and vibrant culture with a procession through historic downtown, from Glenwood Street to Broadway, framed by the iconic Elk Antler Arches. Featuring the American Legion Color Guard, rodeo queens, cowboys, skiers, rafters, and family-friendly floats tossing candies, the parade embodies Wyoming’s spirit for residents and visitors alike.
Participants can compete for cash prizes, with $300 and the Traveling Bronze Buffalo Trophy for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third, honoring creativity and community pride. The Chamber is accepting nominations for Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Hole to serve as Grand Marshals, with submissions due by May 5, 2025, via the Chamber’s website. Nominees must be local residents actively engaged in the community, and winners will receive free Brewfest tickets. Last year’s standout entries included Jackson Hole Airport and The Wort Hotel.
