The National Park Service Visitor Use Statistics Office is reporting Grand Teton National Park hosted an estimated 351,173 recreation visits in October, which is an 88% increase compared with October 2019. Furthermore, park statistics show that October 2020 saw the highest number of recreation visits on record for the month of October. Combined with the previous months, the park has seen 3,171,183 recreational visits so far in 2020 which is about 4¼ % below the year-to-date figure in 2019. With the summer season behind us now, visitor services at Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway are limited this time of year, as most facilities close each winter.
