Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened the season with 18” of fresh snow and 79” of total snowfall for the season. With the last minute addition of the Teton Lift, five lifts spun providing powder hungry skiers and riders 2700 ft. of vertical. The opening lineup included: Teton, Casper, Apres Vous, Teewinot, and the Sweetwater Gondola.
Jackson Hole currently has an above average snowpack. “With more snow on the way we will evaluate opening new lifts and terrain in the coming week,” stated Tim Mason Vice President of Operations. “Our mountain operations staff has done an exceptional job preparing the mountain for the season and the brand new Solitude Station opened today for kids rentals and lessons. RPK3, the newest base area restaurant next to the tram is scheduled to open early December. ”
