The body of a 21-year-old man who disappeared along the Snake River July 3rdwas recovered from the river near Alpine late Sunday. According to a Lincoln County spokesperson, the body of Averin Scott was discovered floating in the river by a private boater. Star Valley Search and Rescue responded to the scene to recover the body from the river. Lincoln County Coroner Dain Schwab was able to make a positive identification of Scott. Scott had been last seen around 11:30 pm July 3rd near the river in the area of South Highway 89, north of Snake River KOA; not far from where he had been living with his uncle. One shoe was discovered on the bank of the river, but there were no other clues into his disappearance.
