The Art Association of Jackson Hole has announced the official cancellation of this year’s July and August Art Fairs. The 55th Annual Art Fairs had been scheduled for July 10th through 12th, and August 7the through 9th. The Art Fairs serve as the largest fundraising events for the Art Association, with a net profit of $200,000. All fundraising directly supports the Art Association’s year-round arts education programming, open studio access, community outreach, and public exhibitions. Cancellation of their largest and most community engaged fundraiser will have a huge financial and social impact on the organization. However, with the health and safety of the community, artists, staff and volunteers, there was little alternative. Through local support and patience, the Art Association Board expects that the annual Art Fairs return to a new normal in 2021.
