Boy kicked by horse

It was a busy weekend for members of Teton County Search and Rescue.  Team members were flown into the Slade Creek area of the Gros Ventre region shortly after 2:15 pm Saturday where an 8-year-old boy had been kicked in the face by a horse.
Rescuers treated the boy at the scene and airlifted the child out. According to Search and Rescue Team Chief Advisor Cody Lockhart, the boy was treated locally and had a good prognosis.
Then on Sunday, the search and rescue helicopter was dispatched to assist Grand Teton National Park rangers with the evacuation of an injured party hiking in the Phelps Lake area. No details on that incident were immediately available.
