A single vehicle accident Tuesday evening involving a rented motor home traveling the South Entrance Road near Lewis Falls resulted in the death of a 13-year-old boy. There were three on board at the time of the accident – a father and his twin 13-year-old boys. Details of the accident were not immediately available. Nathaniel Robert Ullom of Elizabeth, Colorado, was declared deceased on scene and his twin brother Phillip Ullom III was air-lifted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The boys’ father Phillip was transported by ground ambulance to St. John’s Medical Center in Jackson. The accident caused the South Entrance Road to be closed for a number of hours while the victims were being extricated and the wreckage cleaned up. Units from Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole Fire/EMS assisted in the response.
