Investigations have been completed into the two structure fires in Teton County last week. Fire Marshal Kathy Clay says the fire in the kitchen at Dornan’s Chuckwagon was caused as a result of smoking brisket for the Jackson Wild Film Festival dinner. She says, it flared when it was opened and caught the grease in the hood above on fire. Employees immediately attacked the fire, both in the kitchen and in the attic with fire extinguishers and had the fire mostly contained when fire units arrived and finished the job. While the cause of the fire at Forget-Me-Not Thrift Store has been determined, no information has been released yet. That fire was primarily extinguished by employees throwing buckets of water on it.
