Broncs at 5-1 With Lopsided Win

The final score of Friday’s Broncs football Game was impressive, but it was far from Jackson’s best game this season. It was fun for the fans but the kind of game that drives coaches crazy. It didn’t look so much like Jackson took its opponent lightly than Green River relished the role of underdog at home in front of a raucous crowd. They were lying in wait for the Broncs. The Wolves scored the game’s first touchdown and led 14-7 late in the first quarter to give the Broncs a bit of a jolt early. Sloppy play, missed assignments allowed Green River to jump on Jackson quickly. But a pick-6 from Broncs lineman Jack Brown turned the tide and the offense took it from there. The Broncs pummeled Green River for a 63-17 final score to move to 5-1 on the season.
The Broncs are home next Friday to face Evanston and will travel to Powell the following week.
