The Star Valley Braves have had the better of the rivalry dating back to 2015. But this was not the same Star Valley, and this was a Jackson team that was tired of losing to their archrivals from Afton. After a scoreless first that looked like two heavyweights feeling each other out, Star Valley grabbed the lead early in the 2nd quarter. Jackson answered immediately with a tying touchdown and added another couple of scores for a 21-7 lead at one point. The Broncs held on as momentum swung the Braves way for the final 12 minutes to grab a 21-14 win. It was a very close game, statistically, but Jackson simply made more plays down the stretch. A balanced offense and an improving defense helped Jackson move to 4-1 on the season.
