The Lady Broncs could not overcome a 22-4 first quarter deficit to the Green River Wolves last weekend, finally suffering its second conference loss in as many tries. Green River came into the game as one of the highest scoring offenses in the state and quickly showed the Lady Broncs the why and how of that. Hailey Hardeman led all Lady Broncs with 10 points on the afternoon. Gracie Hardeman, Megan Tucker, and Jennifer Feuz each added 5 points. But it was the Wolves who seemed to make every shot they took. Final: Wolves 55, Lady Broncs 34. The boys fared no better. Green River snapped a 7-game losing streak by trouncing the Broncs 77-25 on Saturday afternoon in Jackson. Silas Wotkyns led the Broncs scorers with 13. Evan Brunner pitched in 8. After that there isn’t much to talk about on the scoresheet. Jackson falls to 0-12 on the season, 0-2 in conference play. Next up for both the boys and girls is a matchup with Evanston on out home court this Saturday.
