The Jackson Broncs got back to their winning ways by obliterating the Riverton Wolverines last week. Riverton scored the game’s first touchdown. Little did they know it would be their last. Jackson answered with 1-2-3…8 scores of their own to overwhelm the Wolverines 57-7. Everything Jackson did offensively worked, and it began with the offensive line. They were fantastic—punching open holes for Brody Hasenack, who had another big day, or giving Sadler Smith time to find receivers—the O line came to play last Friday. The much-maligned Broncs defense was much better. Riverton had little success running the ball thanks to Henry Berezay, Will Pew, Jack Brown, and others stuffing the line of scrimmage. The linebacking core including Henry Hershock, Colter Dawson, and Clancy Meagher feasted with tackles. Even the secondary had a good game after being victimized in the past two. The win sets Jackson up nicely for a home game with rivals Star Valley. The Broncs come in with a record of 3-1, Star Valley is 1-3.
