The Buckrail online news service has been sold to a subsidiary of the corporation which owns subscriber-based Jackson Hole News and Guide.com, Jackson Hole News&Guide e-edition, Jackson Hole Daily e-edition and its freely-available news app Hole Scroll.
Teton Digital Media LLC, an independent subsidiary of Teton Media Works Inc., acquired the digital and publishing assets of Buckrail LLC on January 1st.
Buckrail was purchased from Brian Modena and Brian Gulotta who have owned it since the fall of 2017 when they acquired it from a Lander -based public relations technology company, Pitchengine.
Teton Media Works was established by Teton County resident Kevin Olson in 2012 to acquire the assets of Jackson Hole News Inc. along with special interest magazines Jackson Hole, Teton Family, RANGE and A Grand Wedding and their related websites.
