While the 51stannual clean-up week in Jackson Hole officially begins Monday, the associated burn week begins this Saturday, May 4th. Fire Marshal Cathy Clay says a number of precautionary measures should be observed by those planning to take advantage of the opportunity.
Rules for the burn week also require Teton dispatch at 733-2331 to be called and notified prior to the burn. Also, only clean wood, branches and leaves can be burned – absolutely no trash.
