Heroes. That is what many have been calling the doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers who are letting themselves be potentially exposed to the COVID-19 virus while caring for those who are sick. Now, there is an opportunity for local residents to show their support and appreciation by helping buy them lunch. Next Friday, Moe’s will be posted up at St. Johns serving 220 fresh BBQ plates to the men and women working so hard to combat the virus. Those wishing to help can call Moe’s at 733-6637 and say they’d like to buy a meal, or several, for the employees at St. Johns. The cost will be charged to their credit card at $11.00/meal.
