The Center for the Arts Board of Directors has announced that they have appointed David J. Rothman as President and Chief Executive Officer of the organization, effective January 7th. In the newly established role of President and CEO, Rothman will be responsible for the overall success and creative growth of the nonprofit including the vibrancy of its programs and campus, quality of its Resident partnerships, financial sustainability, and impact. Rothman is a prolific author and also co-founded the Crested Butte Music Festival. He was the founding Publisher and Editor of Conundrum Press, served as the third head of Crested Butte Academy, and has run a wide range of nonprofit arts and educational institutions and organizations in western Colorado.
