The Town of Jackson and Evans Construction will begin the 2021 Fall Chip Seal project on Monday, August 16th. The project is anticipated to take approximately 3 days, weather permitting. Chip sealing includes the application of an asphalt coating followed by a layer of aggregate and prolongs the life of the road and reduces maintenance costs. Chip sealing will cover the full road width and requires temporary road closures during the application process. The project will begin on High School Road between Middle School Road and South Highway 89.
