The annual Town of Jackson and Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling event, Spring Clean Up, will take place from May 10th-May 15th, with the Rotary Club hosting its annual Community Clean-up event then as well.
Residential yard waste burn week will be held May 8th– May 17th, but those planning to do any burning need to contact Teton County Dispatch before burning.
This year’s clean-up week will see some changes from the past. No curbside pick-up will occur; yard waste should be brought to the Trash Transfer Station from 7:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday, or 9:00 am-1:00 pm on Saturday.
The first 500 pounds are free during Clean-up week. Also, there will be a one-day only yard waste collection at the Teton County Fairgrounds on Friday, May 14th.
Free compostable brown bags are available at: Recycling Center, Town Hall, and Town of Jackson Public Works Administration Building. Yard waste should be separated into two piles: 1) leaves/grass/twigs 2) sticks/branches (over 1 inch in diameter).
