Climb Wyoming, a nonprofit organization that trains and places single mothers in careers that successfully support their families, is thrilled to announce that Rosie Read will join Climb Wyoming as the Teton Area Program Director.
“We are so excited to welcome Rosie’s professional skill set and experience working with underprivileged populations to this important role for Climb,” said Ray Fleming Dinneen, Climb’s Founder and Executive Director.
Read has served for nine years as an immigration attorney in Jackson, working with community members, nonprofit and government agencies, and employers to navigate the federal immigration landscape.
“I look forward to serving my community in a new and different way as Program Director for Climb, and am thrilled about the opportunity to be part of Climb’s powerful mission to help single mothers and their families discover self-sufficiency,” said Read.
Former Teton Program Director, Lauren Conrad, will transition into a leadership role for Climb, while continuing to work with the Teton program.
The impact of the Climb program in the Teton Area has been significant, serving over 160 single mothers and 300 of their children since inception in 2004. Average monthly wages for Climb graduates in Teton County increase from $1,025 to $2,245.
The Teton Area Climb Wyoming program is currently running a Professional Office Careers training and nine local women will be ready to start new careers in November. For information about hiring a Climb graduate, please call 307-733-4088.
